BATTLE FOR ANDROMEDA - Conflict for a Trillion Suns! - Unpunched
Strategy based game from 1976 and VERY RARE in any condition.
Game has been proofed and is complete and wrapped in shrink with unpunched cards. Everything is in excellent unused condition.
According to GAMEBOARD GEEK:
"According to a Galaxy-Foundation Games catalog, they licensed Taurus to produce an initial print run of 6,000 copies of this game. It is not known if GFG did any further print runs.
There were further games in GFG's strategic series: Deliverance From Beyond the Stars, The Xenon Empire's Star Wars: Crusade Against the War-Lords, and The Collodian Conspiracy: Science Against Chaos Unleashed. These games used Andromeda Foundation Official Battle Manual, which is a slightly changed version of the Battle for Andromeda rules, as the series rulebook.
There was a companion tactical series of games beginning with Warriors of the Dark Star: The Age of the Neutron Wars."
This game includes:
A 43 page rulebook with some familiar Star Trek looking ships on the cover, cool!
A sheet of six "economic grids," one per civilization per game. These were to be mounted and cut out.
A replacement scale printed on light card-stock.
A Combat Operations Plot (this was common to all the strategic GFG games of the series).
A "resource expenditure" (unit cost) table.
A turn record track sheet.
Two copies each of four different ship record sheets (each containing several different types of records).
A sheet identifying various ship pictures, with an ad at the bottom.
A single-piece map.
624 counters, divided into six sets of 104 (one for each race/empire).
